Xu DaRocha is a Shanghai-born visual artist and Chi Gong and Tai Chi teacher based in Los Angeles. After art-school training, Xu moved to the United States in 2001 to pursue painting and sculpture. Xu later returned to the Chi Gong and Tai Chi practices learned as a child in China, bringing teaching alongside an ongoing visual art practice. Xu teaches a weekly Chi Gong class at Santa Monica Yoga and leads WuJi School, an online practice library rooted in Taoist traditions. The school welcomes beginners and experienced practitioners, with full-length Chi Gong classes, shorter practices and guided meditation. Online practices can be adapted for standing or sitting.
